Handcrafted with care, this stunning and highly practical bespoke, waxed cotton riding habit has been developed and refined by seasoned equestrians.
Every riding skirt is handmade to order here in Devon, is of a high quality and made to last.
It features a mixed lining of real sheepskin and cotton to provide warmth even in the harshest weather.
This waterproof riding skirt not only shields you and your saddle from rain but also ensures exceptional warmth and dryness, while maintaining a stylish appearance.
The waxed cotton is hard wearing and durable. The more it’s used, the more beautiful the material becomes – soft and supple.
These items are bespoke and made to order, and therefore delivery time will vary please contact us prior to ordering if you have a special date so we can confirm if it is possible.
You will receive an email to discuss your bespoke options once orderd. We don't hold stock of the sheepskins so the lead time is slightly longer due to ordering in your sheepskins for your habit.

I absolutely love my skirt from Nouvelle Habit. I messaged back and forth with Odette to have slight adjustments made to the skirt length before I ordered and she was a pleasure to deal with. It arrived beautifully (and I mean truly beautifully) packaged, made and sent with loving care. I wear it throughout the whole of Autumn, Winter and Spring, I wear it to walk the dogs, pooh pick the fields and ride my horses. I just wish Odette made matching jackets…. I’d buy one like a shot!

I could not recommended a nicer lady or company. We met at a show and instantly you could see how the quality was through the skirt from start to finish. When it arrived in the post it did not fail to give me the ‘wow’ factor, she really had thought of everything including the wax seal on the envelope.
