What’s not to love about Tartin Fox!
Everthing is handmade and all have a countryside theme. Each item is unique and most items feature a certain countryside critter…be it a horse, fox, hare, Jack Russell, labrador or chicken! These animals are designed and appliqued, using an array of vintage and modern fabrics, having a patchwork effect.
You may even notice some of my bespoke linings added to her designs, as I donate my off cuts to be used up in these magical creations.

Horse Archery Lessons
From ancient warfare to modern sport, have you ever wondered what it would feel like to gallop (or walk & trot!) along on your horse – bow in one hand, arrows in the other, as you ride along loading your arrow and shooting to hit the bullseye of the target?! Well, now is the time!
Taught by qualified and experienced horseback archery instructors, you will first learn to use your bow from the ground learning to nock and shoot your arrows using the special thumb draw technique. Then mount one of our specially trained horses and practise nocking on the move as you ride down the archery run unleashing your arrows upon the targets.
Side Saddle Lessons
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride side saddle? Conjuring images of elegant women in flowing skirts straight from a scene of Downton Abbey, this traditional discipline has a rich and interesting history. But, is it easy to balance, and how comfortable is it compared to riding astride? Well, now you can find out!
Whilst the beautiful dresses or ‘habit’ are often the appeal for some, the good news is they are absolutely not necessary to be able to start learning! However, we do have skirts available to ride in!
Whether on one of our schoolmaster horses or, on your own horse our experienced and qualified side saddle instructor will guide you through the basics and help you progress your side saddle riding whether for fun, showing, dressage, jumping or even hacking and XC!
